Where pets live
Repair the Ranch in the Castle. Eggs hatch there. You equip the active pet in town, not mid-run. A pet found during a floor waits in storage until you return. Hatched pets persist if the hero dies. Feeding spare gear is a reported way to add experience besides bringing the pet into fights. Fusion spends Knowledge and duplicate pets. Do not equip or fuse during a dungeon.
The charge cycle
After you attack, the pet bites the same target and gains 1 charge. At 3 charges it uses an ability or pounces for double bite damage. Pets are described as untargetable. They do not have a health bar.
Reported ability meanings:
- Heal restores HP.
- Energy Heal grants 1 Energy, sometimes 2.
- Attack makes the bite hit harder.
- Electric can stun.
- Savage can poison.
- Decoy grants Fortify for the round.
Families
Egg pages describe eight families with three pets and a shared ability pool. Rarity, on that October 9 model, caps level and unlocked abilities: Common 30 with one ability, Uncommon 50 with two, Rare 70 with two, Legendary 90 with three, Divine 100 with three. Legendary and Divine come from fusion. Later pages also say Mythic. If the Ranch shows a different cap, use the Ranch.
| Family | Named pets | Ability pool |
|---|---|---|
| Canine | Scruffy Pup, Wolf Cub, Frost Hound | Attack, Savage, Decoy, Heal |
| Feline | Tabby Kitten, Shadow Cat, Sabre Lynx | Attack, Savage, Electric, Decoy |
| Aquatic | Bubblefish, Axolotl, Baby Kraken | Heal, Energy Heal, Electric, Decoy |
| Spooky | Ghostie, Batling, Pumpkin Jack | Energy Heal, Electric, Savage, Attack |
| Automaton | Gear Golem, Tin Bot, Clock Beetle | Electric, Attack, Decoy, Energy Heal |
Woodland names that are attached to the family are Moss Fawn and Hedgehog. The third Woodland pet was not in the pages read. Avian pages name Robin and Phoenix from Aven eggs, which does not line up with a strict three-pet list, so those two are recorded separately.
Spot patterns are reported as a rarity hint: spots for Common, green stripes for Uncommon, a blue zigzag for Rare.
Halloween eggs are a second catalog
One stall list sells a Haunted Egg for 220 Candy and names Witch Kitty, Mummy Pup, Itsy Widow, Wee Reaper, Will-o-Wisp, and Nightmare Foal, with hatch chances from 24% down to 6%. Another pet page says the same 220 Candy egg can hatch Gecko or a Mythic Nine Tails. Treat those as competing reports. The Candy Witch menu is the stock that matters this week. A separate note says Haunted Eggs were sold through 2026-11-02. That date can move with the event.
